Day of the Dead at the Gardens!
Come meet your board members & fellow gardeners! Bring a warm drink or snack to share.
And feel free to dress for the occasion!
Sunday, November 1st
1 pm – 4 pm at B St & Crow Hill Gardens
We’ll have some bulbs to plant and will be closing down all beds unless we have been provided advance notice* by you, as owner of plot, of your intent to close down your bed later or grow some sort of winter crop.
*Please email us with your intentions prior to November 1st if you can’t make the end of the season close out party.
We will have extra soil at the party if members want to add some to their plots. This is a great time to add compost too!
Did you record your volunteer hours?
Volunteer hours can be recorded by filling in the chart at each garden or sending us a message. All volunteer hours are expected to be completed by Nov. 15 unless a member provides a plan to the DCG Board. The DCG Board will meet after the end of season work party (Nov. 1) and before Nov. 15 and tally up volunteer hours again then.
All payments, 2015 dues & 2015 unfulfilled volunteer hours* ($10/hr) need to be paid by Nov. 15!
